Valentine (2001) IMDB rating: 4.10 Plot: Valentine’s Day 1988: At the school dance, geeky Jeremy Melton bravely faces one rejection after the other when asking four popular girls to dance with him. Check your local library. Especially if you live in the city. Most librarys have vast amounts of DVDs you can rent for free. If they don’t have the ones your looking for, ask them if they have a sister library that will let them borrow from so they can loan to you. Or they might just be out and you need to reserve them. Where can I get a custom computer built?

Here’s what I want:

Plain case, mid tower, nothing fancy, no LEDs. High quality. Top must be flat, so I can sit stuff on it. (Believe it or not, I have a CHRISTMAS TREE sitting on top of my current computer, all year round!!! :O Okay it’s only 3 feet high, but it looks good tooh mee.
No LEDs on case or fans. No water cooling.
Proper cooling of the case - slow big fans.
Computer must be QUIET!!! Everything must be done to keep it QUIET!

Fastest AMD processor there is (Currently AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4Ghz 125W Black Edition)

Wow why would you want such an expensive piece of equipment to not push it? Unless you’re going to be doing something else demanding on it. Head over to newegg.com and build it there. You know everything you want and that’s really all you need to know. Only thing you have to watch out for is what processors the motherboard supports and what ram it supports. Other than that there’s nothing tricky about it. I’ll get you started.

There are a few websites for that. There is iBuyPower, which I think is the best. It lets you customize pretty much everything on the computer. But if you want one that’s not for gaming, the specs above look way too extreme! Try Core i5 from Intel or something related.

use seagate 2 TB harddisk..and buy samsungmonitor..its d best.. u can alo try view sonic.. and buy a BD writer(sony)..as u know logitech for keyboards and mice…and asus motherboards are of best quality..rampage II extreme is best.. ups from APC..a DDR3 ram..don spend money in video cards..as u r not interested in gaming.. use that money to buy a better processor..and a cooler master or antec are the best cabinet manufacturers

Has anyone ever heard about the Texarkana Phantom Killer?
He was named the "Phantom" by locals because he wore a white hood over his head. He terrorized the town between February and May of 1946. They made a movie back in ‘76 called The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Have any of you heard about this before?
My Aunt and real Grandfather saw two of the first victims of the killer. They said it was jsut awful. I am from Texarkana and know quite a few people who lived back then, and they have told me many things about this. If you have not seen the movie, you need to. It really is good.

I'm working on the outline of a book right now. Any tips?
As my headlining question states, I’m working on a book right now—my first one actually. I’ll try to do my best to stretch it out, but if it’s going to be what I think it may be, it will only be around 100 or 150 pages long. I’m trying to write it in a classical style with a blend of medieval and modern themes. Some of my favorite books were the classics— The Iliad and The Odyssey by Homer, Paradise Lost by John Milton, and also many plays such as Othello and Phantom of The Opera. I really want to make this epic. I already have most of the lead characters planned out. Does anyone have any tips as to how to stretch my book out so to provide it with good, publishable quality? Also, for the veteran authors, about how long does it normally take you to write a good book? Where should I go to get it published when done? Finally, if it’s good and published, how much should I expect to make from it? If anyone has anymore random tips of which could help, then by all means, share them. Thanks in advance.

Don’t rush yourself. And don’t plan for it to be an epic, since many books never get published.

I’m not exactly a ‘veteran’ author, but i have a lot of experience writing novellas. It takes me about 2-3 months to write the shortest novellas, but I’m working on my full-length novel right now, which has already taken 2 months, not including the time I spent creating it in my head.

when you write it, look at publisher’s websites. find out what they want (letter, synopsis, however many chapters) and send it off. You’ll find out soon enough if they want to publish it or not. Send it to more than one.

Don’t expect to make much from it. The average author (non-bestsellers) make around ?2,000 - ?4,000, give or take a little.
